Airblue to launch this month (Daily Times - May 18, 2004 )

LAHORE: Pakistan’s newest domestic airline Airblue introduced its web-based e-technology to members of the Travel Agents Association of Pakistan (TAAP) in Lahore recently. According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, a large number of travel agents showed interest in getting acquainted with the airline’s online reservations services attended the full-day workshop. The launch is scheduled for the end of May with three Airbus A-320 aircraft. The company has invested Rs 6 billion on infrastructure and has made a direct investment of $10 million, the press release claimed. —Staff Report
