Karachi: Airblue launched a BlueSky child enrichment programme with its first flight taking off on March 12 -- one day round trip to Nawabshah.

The idea is to enhance and develop the wonders of aviation experience and choices in career development for children above the age group of six years to senior level.

The BlueSky travel package, while educating one to the wonders of flying, is a one-day flight excursion with inflight instruction, lunch, a visit to the cockpit and a post-flight friendly chat with the pilot and other Airblue staff.

The trip is available at a minimal cost to not only educational institutions, but also philanthropists.

The first-ever BlueSky child enrichment round trip programme commenced with 15 handicapped children from the Ida Rieu Welfare Association. The trip was sponsored by Pakistan Rotary District 3270 to celebrate its 100 years of service to humanity.
