Press Release: Airblue Adds Direct Flights to Dubai from Northern Markets

ISLAMABAD, December 16, 2005: Airblue, Ltd, Pakistan's fastest growing private airline, is pleased to announce the addition of several flights to Dubai from its northern markets. As of December 4, travelers have been taking advantage of direct flights to Dubai from Lahore, Peshawar and Islamabad.

The airline began international flights to Dubai in August, via the Karachi-Dubai sector. The popular addition of these northern markets has helped Airblue continue to its growth domestically and internationally. While the airline waits for the delivery of its 10 aircraft from Airbus in 2007, Airblue is also adding at least one more A320 by wet-lease to cover the demands of its expanding service.

Airblue currently operates 154 flights per week (domestic and international) operating a fleet of Three (3) Airbus A320 aircraft with an all-Pakistani cockpit and cabin crew. Airblue has won the reputation of introducing many firsts within Pakistan's aviation industry since the start of its domestic flights last year. Innovations such as 100% e-Ticketing, web based sales, a unique demand-based fare structure that allows competitive fares and deep discounts to passengers with flexible travel plans, wireless check-in devices, a paperless intra-company operating environment, and customer friendly service have all gone towards making Airblue a front-runner and the airline of choice in the Pakistan market.
