KARACHI: AirBlue, the top and favorite private sector airline of Pakistan has introduced a passenger information system technology through SMS.

A press communiqué issued by the AirBlue said Friday that the two-and-a half-year-old airline was the first one in Pakistan to introduce the concept of electronic tickets, wireless check-in and self check-in kiosks at different airports throughout the country.

AirBlue’s passenger SMS system would be primarily used by the airline to inform its passengers of real time Flight delays or cancellation to avoid unnecessary inconvenience to its customers.
