Airblue operations to Manchester would further strengthen the solidarity
and friendship between United Kingdom and Pakistan, stated Lord
Mayor of Manchester, Mr. Glynn Evans.
Lord
Mayor Evans spoke to a gathering
including over 300 prominent Pakistanis of the business community,
Travel Agents, Media Personnel and Manchester Airport Group Authorities
at a dinner hosted by airblue to launch their UK operations from
June 01, 2007.
Airblue
will be the first private airline of Pakistan in the aviation history
to start long haul operations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
Lord
Mayor emphasized that an essential requirement of the aviation industry
was maintaining excellent service, which is being ignored by airlines
today.
Counsel
General of Pakistan for Manchester, Mr. Masroor A. Junijo, was also
present at the occasion. Airblue's performance in Pakistan is an
evidence of the success story of the airline, stated Mr. Junijo.He

has decided to introduce a 5th flight on every Thursday from June
28, 2007.
Mr.
Abbasi further emphasized that airblue's success was due to the
innovative technology being used by the airline and the next generation
aircraft in operation by airblue.
Airblue
plans to start operations to new international routes very soon
benefiting the Pakistani community around the world and expanding
its network. #
