What type of web browser
should I use to purchase travel online?
To view www.airblue.com and purchase travel online,
we recommend you use a web browser equivalent to Netscape Navigator
version 4.06 or Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.01 or higher.
The newest versions of these browsers can be downloaded from the
Netscape or Microsoft web sites, respectively. America Online (AOL)
users must use AOL version 4.0 or higher, which uses Internet Explorer.
The browser you use must support Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption
and JavaScript. Disabling any of these features or using older non-compatible
browsers may reduce site functionality.
To determine which browser you are running,
click on Help at the top of the browser and select the About menu
item that describes your browser. Please note that any "Beta"
or "Preview" version of a browser may not properly work
with these pages. If you are using a beta or preview version, please
upgrade your browser to a previously released version of either
Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Corporate access limitations:
If you are accessing the Airblue web site from
your corporate LAN and you get an error message on the itinerary
screen, it may be because you are being blocked by a firewall. Although
the error message may read that Netscape Navigator is unable to
find the web server, it is most likely because your corporation
has a firewall which is preventing encrypted traffic from flowing
from the Airblue web site back to you. Ask your system administrator
to reconfigure the firewall to open port 443, which is the port
used for secure HTTP.
I cannot get a screen
to load completely. Why not?

cache for your web browser. To determine which browser you are running,
press the [Alt] and [H] keys on your keyboard at the same time while
the browser is open. In the Help menu, select the About menu item

the screen where I enter payment information. What causes this and
how can I fix the problem?
Your [Num Lock] key may not be activated. Either
use the standard number keys that appear above the letter keys on
your keyboard or press the [Num Lock] key on your keyboard and type
the numbers using the number keypad on your keyboard.
Why does my system "freeze"
or close applications when I am trying to purchase travel online?
If you have several applications running at the
same time, your system resources may be overwhelmed, causing the
system to "freeze" or automatically close certain needed
applications. The Airblue web site CANNOT "freeze" a Customer's
computer.
How do you protect my credit
card information?
We use security applications and utilities to
protect your credit/debit card information. Our security applications
work with most web browsers.
Two ways to verify your credit/debit card information
is being protected while purchasing on the Internet:
1. Look for an unbroken key or a closed lock in the lower status
bar of your browser screen.
2. Look at the address line (i.e.https://www.airblue.com ) at the
top of the browser screen change from "http" to "https"
as you access the secure page.
Why am I getting a message
at the itinerary screen?
If you get an error message on the itinerary
screen (where the phrase "I accept these restrictions and want
to purchase this travel" is displayed next to a Continue button),
it may be because you are being blocked by a firewall. Ask your
system administrator to reconfigure the firewall to open port 443,
which is the port used for secure HTTP.
